We have "crunched the numbers" and came up with an efficient way for you to choose your own services A La Carte. We love working with new businesses who are just getting going and need extra help in the bookkeeping area, but have found that our flat rate pricing for full-charge bookkeeping just isn't going to cut it for their budget. They may only temporarily need Receivable and Payable help...or they may have the data entry part covered, but just need a professional eye for the bank reconciliations. With our method, we can still help those businesses we are passionate about and make sure they get the professional accounting they need without having to sacrifice anything. 

This "pick and choose" method works great for new and for established businesses. How? Because the way we have packaged and priced these "products" it can benefit all business sizes. 

There is no contract, you can decide to not continue with our services next month...or you can simply "pause" it until you are ready to get going again, this ensures your pricing will stay the same. Say you're having a rough month, but you don't want to lose the relationship you've started with problem! We understand. Simply pause our services and we will patiently wait for you to return in the coming months.

Catch-Up Bookkeeping

Catch-Up Bookkeeping is when your accounting software has not been updated for quite some time. You need all (or most) of your expenses and income entered and your bank accounts reconciled. 

Typically, some business owners let their books slide for one reason or another and then realize the need for this come tax time. They realize what it will cost for their tax accountant to do the catch-up and are off looking for a more reasonable solution. 

That's why we're here! Your dedicated accountant will talk with you about who has handled the books in the past, how far back they will need to be updated and then will get to work. They will provide what I like to call "Functional Bookkeeping." They will enter all expenses and income into their appropriate tax-efficient account in the proper way so you can still benefit from sound financial reports after everything is caught up. 

Many times, when your tax accountant gets your books up to date, it is filled with journal entries. This still provides the same numerical outcome...this was spent on expenses and this was received as income...but it's not beneficial for reviewing financial reports or being able to look back on individual transactions. 

That's why I like to call our method Functional Bookkeeping, because you can still go back and review the data as if it was there all along.

  • Reconcile all bank accounts back to when they were done last
